伴隨科技發展 以及社會對於採用機器人提供民眾服務的需求日益增加, 社會機器人學 正逐漸成為一個研究關於 “人類-機器人共存” 問題的新興潛力學科。 我們可以先界定其問題範圍為一種 “機器人社交性問題” 其中又牽涉到許多包含人工智慧、電腦科學、機械工程學、認知科學、哲學、法學等跨學科交叉議題,參酌圖 1.我們對於社會機器人學的主要研究興趣在於深入探究人機互動和社會系統設計的交疊處,目前幾個待思考的開放性問題為: 如何設計出更加兼容於社會的機器人? 、服務型機器人如何在不同社會中獲得來自民眾的 “社會接受度” ? 、阿西莫夫機器人三大法則是否為實踐確保人類-機器人安全互動之 安全智能 的可行方案? 、如何在考慮不同文化背景的前提下討論人機互動中衍生的行為規範或規則?
